There are many reasons people need someone to install a new propane tank at their home or business. Some people are adding propane appliances like water heaters, ranges, clothes dryers, boilers and furnaces to their current home. Others are building a new home, while others may be longtime propane users but are changing propane providers and need a new propane tank.  Whatever the reason, First Fuel and Propane can help!

Unsure what propane tank size you need? Fuel and Propane is here to help. Here is the different size tanks and what they are used for.

420-Pound or 100-Gallon Propane Tank: For homes with one or two propane appliances such as a range or a clothes dryer.

250-Gallon Propane Tank: For three or more propane appliances, but not for your home heating.

500-Gallon Propane Tank: If you use propane for your home heating and also for your appliances

1,000-Gallon Propane Tank (or larger): This size is more commonly used in commercial applications. But it’s also a residential tank for large homes with propane heating, numerous appliances.
